Support the Sonoma County Horse Council

The central mission of the Horse Council is to promote the health and well-being of horses and all aspects of the horse industry in Sonoma County:

  • Promote and preserve horse agriculture, industry, and recreation in Sonoma County

  • Communicate to members on horse-related issues

  • Inform the public about horse community goals and projects

  • Support private and public equestrian facilities

  • Promote all aspects of the equine industry

  • Publish the Sonoma County Horse Journal

  • Grow the SCHC Equine Disaster Relief & Preparedness Fund

Your Horse Council is working tirelessly to protect the health and safety of equines and to support equestrian activities in Sonoma County.

Your donation directly impacts the Sonoma County's horse community. It will provide resources used for our Economic Impact Study - which when last completed estimated the equine industry generated $613 million annually for Sonoma businesses, supported over 7,700 jobs, and provided over $11 million in annual local tax revenue - figures second only to the region's wine industry.

Sponsors make possible our non-profit's countless activities that support the horse owner including disaster relief, advocacy for trail access, development and safety, youth programs, as well as grass-roots community inclusion and outreach through the award-winning quarterly SCHC Horse Journal.

Please donate to help us continue our mission. Please make an online donation of any amount today, or send a check to SCHC, P.O. Box 7157, Santa Rosa, CA 95407.
